Florida Hacks with IBM, a Virtual Hackathon, Is Sept. 13 to Nov. 29


Calling all innovators! Here’s an opportunity to have fun, do good, and compete for a $100,000 prize pool.

Florida Hacks with IBM is looking for hackathon enthusiasts with a passion for sustainability. This 6-week virtual hackathon, created by IBM and University of Florida, will focus on conservation issues in the Sunshine State, like water quality and power consumption. The hackathon takes place September 13, 2021, to November 29, 2021.

Participants will have the opportunity to combat climate change and create solutions that make a difference while utilizing IBM technologies, AI/ML, and/or responsible AI. Coding beginners are invited to join, and no experience with sustainability issues is necessary. IBM will support you with mentorship and data sets to help bring your ideas to life. Open to U.S. residents only.
