Beth Veinott Is PI of R and D Contract from Virginia Tech


Elizabeth Veinott (CLS/MTTI) is the principal investigator (PI) on a project that has received a $69,701 research and development contract from Virginia Tech.

The project is titled “Multi-Site Simulation to Examine Driver Behavior Impact of Integrated Rail Crossing Violation Warning (RCVW) and In-Vehicle Auditory/Visual Alert (IVAA) System.”

Pasi Lautala (CEGE/MTTI) is a co-PI on this potential 2.5-year project.

Veinott is director of the Institute of Computing and Cybersystems’s (ICC) Center for Human-Centered Computing (HCC).
