Pumpkin carving Event

A pumpkin carving for all ages will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1100 College Avenue, beginning at 6:00 PM on Sunday, October 28.  This event is sponsored by the Lutheran Campus Ministry (ELCA).  Bring your own pumpkin and carving tools if you can.  Treats will be provided!

On November 3, the Latin party starts with 1 house Salsa lessons from 8:00 to 9:00 PM, located in MUB Ballroom A and will continue as an open dance floor from 9:00 to 11:00 PM. This event is free and open to public.

GLBTQ History Month Speaker

oSTEM (Out is Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) is hosting a visit from Dr. Ron Buckmire.  Dr. Buckmire is a National Science Foundation (NSF) Program Director in the Division of Undergraduate Education from 28-30 October. He will be giving a talk as part of GLBTQ History Month from 7:00 – 8:00 PM in Dow 641 on Monday, October 29. His talk, entitled:  “A Black, Gay NSF program Officer? Or, How I Got Here From There,” gives an overview of his personal experiences as a member of multiple minority groups.

Winter Carnival 2013 Applications

Applications for stage revue, queens, and month long snow statues will be available in the Blue Key office beginning Monday, October 29 at 8:00 AM. The Blue Key office is located in MUB 106 and applications can be picked up Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.

Dodge ball with Tau Kappa Epsilon
