K-Day 2013
One of the biggest campus Traditions is TODAY at McLain State Park. K-Day, short for Keweenaw Day, is an annual tradition at Michigan Tech that is held every year on the Friday of the first week of classes. Each year on K-Day, classes release at noon so our students can celebrate their beautiful surroundings in the Keweenaw Peninsula and learn about ways to get involved and connected at Tech. K-Day typically sees around 3,500-4,000 students attend, be sure to check out this amazing event so you don’t miss out!
Buses will be available for complimentary transportation from the MUB bus stop starting at Noon and running continuously until 4:00 PM when the event ends.
K-Day 2103 is sponsored by Student Activities, Greek Life, Facilities Management, and the Student Activities fee.
