Dr Edward Duca will be talking about his work in helping scientists and the public engage with each other. He has set up science cafes and a festival that attracts 15,000 people (over 3% of the population) to Malta’s capital city, Valletta. The festival brings scientists and artists together to reach the public in a more attractive and interactive manner. He will also be talking about how University-based magazines can be designed to appear less like PR and attract a wider audience.
