Ski for the Key, a benefit for Omega House and Swedetown Trails

The 2nd Annual Ski for the Key 2014 (Ski for the Keweenaw) is quickly approaching! This annual event supports two great organizations, and is a fun day of x-country skiing or snowshoeing. Ski or snowshoe to earn points for prizes!  Ski for the Key will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at Swedetown Trails in Calumet.

Proceeds of the fundraiser go to the Omega House and Swedetown Trails Club. Registration and pledge envelopes are available at Aspirus Keweenaw Home Health & Hospice, Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital, Aspirus Keweenaw Medical Arts, Omega House, Portage Health, Range Bank, and Swedetown Trails Chalet.

Outdoor Adventure Program (OAP) Spring Break 2014 Trips

If you are looking to get out of town for Spring Break why not sign up with the OAP to go on an adventure you are sure not to forget. There are three great options to consider.

Tutors Needed at Jeffers High School

Do you have at least one hour each week to commit to tutoring and/or mentoring a Jeffers High School student during the Spring semester?  The students will be scheduled to meet with you during the day or after school in accordance with your MTU class schedule.  Michigan Tech students will also be reimbursed $4.00 per visit to help with travel costs.
