The Capture Your Adventure program has already begun, but it isn’t too late to join in! All you have to do is follow @mtu_wellbeing on social media and start following the prompts! Each week that you post using the hashtag enters you into the drawing for some spectacular prizes such as a tent and sleeping bag, a bike, or an inflatable paddle board! Have fun, get outside, and capture your adventure Huskies!

Pop-up Painting Party

Take a break and join us as we channel our inner Bob Ross! Canvases, paints, and brushes provided – no creativity required.

Thursday, May 13 from 2-4 pm in the MUB Commons

Plant-A-Palooza!

Bring a friend (or two!) and join us for our fifth annual Plant-A-Palooza!!

You can plant a succulent and take it home. Wednesday, May 26 at 2 PM on Walker Lawn. We will be featuring a HUGE variety of succulents to choose from!!

Plants, dirt, and pots will be provided – while supplies last!

Michigan STEM Forward

Attention College of Business students! We have exciting news for you! Are you or a fellow classmate looking for an internship this upcoming summer or school year? If so, Michigan Tech has teamed up with STEM Forward to create that opportunity for you. Apply here.

What is the STEM Program?
STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The program allows you to choose one of those specific categories you would be interested in and align you with a company that offers an internship in that category. Students who are interested in this program are able to choose a region in MICHIGAN they want to work in and also have a desire to live in MICHIGAN after graduation. There are both part-time and full-time internship opportunities.

Copper Country Habitat for Humanity

The building schedule will be starting on Thursday, May 20th from 9-3 pm in South Range.
Thursday, May 20th looking for 2-3 volunteers 9am til 3pm
Saturday, May 22 looking for 4 volunteers – 9am til 3pm
Thursday, May 27 looking for 2 volunteers – 9am til 3pm
Saturday, May 29 looking for 2 volunteers – 9 am til 3 pm

There will be lunch provided for each of these workdays.

WUPHD Vaccine Clinic

Volunteers are needed to assist with the Western Upper Peninsula Health Department vaccine clinic on May 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Student Development Complex.

Those interested in volunteering an hour or several hours are asked to fill out this form.
