SoundGirls Pride Celebration
Come show your PRIDE! Join SoundGirls as we celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride Month. Today, Wednesday, June 11th, we will be making posters in the Hamar House from 2:00-4:00 PM. The entire campus community is then invited to join us for a Pride Parade walking from the Gateway Arch to the Hamar House beginning at 11 AM. All are welcome!
RSO Registration for K-Day
Attention all Registered Student Organizations! It’s time to break out your creativity and rally your team—K-Day is just around the corner, and this year we’re going on a campus-wide search for our favorite elusive husky: Blizzard!
What’s K-Day, you ask? It’s Keweenaw Day, MTU’s annual celebration of student involvement—and it’s one event you won’t want to miss. Picture this: a lively lakeside park packed with excited students, amazing food, music in the air, and a ton of interactive activities. With 3,500–4,000 students in attendance each year, K-Day is the ultimate chance for your organization to shine and connect with potential new members.
Registration is open now, so don’t miss your chance to secure your spot at this epic event. Make sure to have your organization’s activity finalized before registering, as space is limited, and you won’t want to miss out. We already have 107 RSOs signed up and only 200 spaces available! And remember, the primary contact listed during registration will be the point person for all communications, so keep an eye on your inbox throughout the summer for any updates or changes.

Update Your E-Board Positions
Presidents are required to fill out our E-Board Position Update Form when an officer transition happens. The form can be found on the homepage of our website and the homepage of Involvement Link.
Your officers listed on Involvement Link are used for access to and communication about the yearly required RSO Re-registration and Training. Failure to update officers is the leading cause for missed deadlines and budget deductions.
Please note: Only required officers (President, Treasurer, Secretary, Advisor) need to be added through the form and complete training in the fall. Organization-created positions can be updated directly on Involvement Link.
SDC Closure – June 21st / 22nd
The SDC will be closed on Saturday, June 21, and Sunday, June 22, due to essential repairs to the main waterline. We will resume our regular summer hours on Monday, June 23. You can view our facility hours online.
