This August, over 7,000 Huskies will return to campus to continue their studies—many of whom are looking for part-time jobs that align with and enhance their academic skills. We’re exploring the idea of hosting a local jobs expo and would love to know if your company would be interested in participating. If your company has an office based in Baraga, Houghton, or Keweenaw counties – we’d like to hear from you.
While you may already know about Michigan Tech’s strong student body, you might be surprised by the breadth of degrees and programs we offer. Whether you’re looking for reliable weekend help, a consistent part-time employee, or are open to hosting a student for a brief job shadow, there’s likely a student whose talents align with your needs.
We’ve put together a brief 2-question survey to gauge interest:
- Would you be interested in attending a Local Jobs Expo on campus? We are currently considering Thursday, August 28, 2025 for this event.
- Would you be open to hosting a student as part of our Job Shadow Program in October?
Your time and interest in helping students gain real-world experience are greatly appreciated. We look forward to the opportunity to connect you with some of Michigan Tech’s brightest and most motivated students.
