The Chemical Engineering Department recently welcomed Forest Park 6th and 7th grade students for a afternoon of hands-on STEM learning and exploration. During their visit, students participated in four interactive activities: Balloon Cars, Filtration, a UO Lab Tour, and Squeeze Factory, each designed to introduce scientific and engineering concepts in an engaging way.
Adrienne Minerick, faculty member in Chemical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering, was recently highlighted in Science for her election in the annual American Association for the Advancement of Science leadership elections. Minerick was elected as Member-at-Large for the Engineering section, a role that reflects her continued leadership and contributions within the engineering and scientific communities.
