The Chemical Engineering Department recently welcomed Forest Park 6th and 7th grade students for a afternoon of hands-on STEM learning and exploration. During their visit, students participated in four interactive activities: Balloon Cars, Filtration, a UO Lab Tour, and Squeeze Factory, each designed to introduce scientific and engineering concepts in an engaging way.
These activities gave students the opportunity to explore problem-solving, experimentation, and the practical applications of chemical engineering in a fun learning environment. Thank you to everyone who contributed their time and effort to make the event a success and ensure everything ran smoothly!
