Amount: $4,000 over two years

Eligibility:

  • Current college sophomores or college juniors.
  • Enrolling full-time at an accredited four-year college or university for the entire upcoming academic year.
  • Majoring in chemical, computer, electrical, industrial, materials, mechanical, or metallurgical engineering.
  • Citizens of Canada, Mexico or the United States.
  • Maintaining a minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.75 or above, on a 4.0 scale.

 

Application:

  • A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display student name, school name, grade and credit hours earned for each course, and term in which each course was taken.

Also as part of your application, one online recommendation must be submitted on your behalf by April 19, 2018.

Medigo $2,000 Scholarship

Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled, or have been offered a place, at a university or college in the United States of America.

Question: How should a company ensure that all nationalities, races and cultures are celebrated and integrated in an office environment?

Please produce an essay of 800-1,200 words. Applicants should write about two examples of how a company has managed diversity in the workforce. The student should then come up with one original idea themself. Briefly explain all three ideas and then evaluate in detail why you think they are good examples. Applicants are free to include images if they’d like.

The essays will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  1. Creativity of the student’s approach
  2. Student’s ability to craft an essay
  3. Relevance of essay to its topic

2018 Personal Injury Scholarship

Eligibility:

  • This scholarship is offered to any student currently enrolled in an accredited community college, undergraduate, or graduate program in the United States. This includes incoming first-year college students who are high school graduates or possess a GED.
  • The scholarship candidate must be able to show proof of admission or attendance (e.g., a transcript or acceptance letter) at an accredited educational program, as stated above.
  • The scholarship candidate must be in good academic standing, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • The scholarship candidate must have an interest in the legal field and be pursuing (or intending to pursue) a career in this industry. (Note: The candidate does not have to be attending law school specifically.)

Amount: 6 scholarships for $7,500 a year (half each semester)

Eligibility: If you are graduating with your first degree from an accredited four year institution at the end of the Spring Term of 2019 through the Spring Term of 2020, you are eligible to apply.
