Hello! My name is Nathan Klemstein, and I am majoring in Civil Engineering with a minor in Rail Transportation. I am involved with the Photography Club and film Michigan Tech athletic games. I enjoy hiking, cycling, and exploring the outdoors. I have a passion for photography and filmmaking, and I enjoy experimenting with vintage and unique lenses and equipment.
Elizabeth grew up in the countryside in Minnesota, and she is currently attending Michigan Tech to get her degree in Marketing. On campus she is on the Mub Board Arts & Leisure committee and she loves putting on fun events for students. Additionally, she enjoys crocheting, drawing, figure skating, and hanging out with friends.
Rowan is a Media and Sound consultant with emphasis in sound design, photography, and videography. Rowan graduated with a degree in Sound Design with a minor in Media Production. He loves spending time with his cat, Kam, hiking, and playing video games.
Helen Erickson is a French language consultant who is majoring in Scientific and Technical Communication and minoring in both French and Music Composition. She studied abroad for a month in Paris during the summer of 2024 to make progress towards her French minor. She also enjoys all different kinds of storytelling, from books to film to theater. Helen is the president of the Society for Technical Communication Student Chapter at Michigan Tech, and she will help host the Café Français this semester. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, spending time near Lake Superior, and having fun with her friends.
Jack is a Media consultant specializing in sound. He is majoring in Sound Design, with a minor in media production. His favorite hobby is reading, but he also loves to go to concerts, watch movies, and listen to pretty much any kind of music. Jack is also passionate about theater, both through events put on by the Rozsa Center, and plays put on by the Visual and Performing Arts department. He is a member of the executive board of MTU’s chapter of SoundGirls, an organization dedicated to promoting women and minorities in the sound industry.
Konnichiwa! My name is Atsushi Sakamoto, and I’m a fourth-year student from Japan. I’m majoring in human factors and am currently a member of the Human Interface Design Enterprise. My specialty is creating great user experiences and designing interfaces. In the future, I hope to use my skills to design websites and apps in the field of UX/UI. When I’m not studying or designing, I love to spend time outdoors. Hiking, cycling, and kayaking are some of my favorite activities. I also play soccer as a member of a Michigan Tech’s Men’s Club Soccer Team. I’m passionate about travel and enjoy learning about different cultures by trying new things.
Hali is a German consultant majoring in mechanical engineering with a minor in German. She is from Lexington, Kentucky and enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and skiing in her free time. On campus, she is involved with Ridge Roamers rock climbing club, and Alpha Society honor society for first- and second-year students.
Sergio is a third-year Mechatronics student and member of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers from Mexico. In his free time, Sergio enjoys outdoor activities- especially swimming, and he is a member of the Husky Swim Club.
Clark is a Media consultant with a specialty in photography, cameras, and computers, and is majoring in English. He loves to watch movies and read stories from any genre. He is involved in theatre, so you may see him in some plays. He also enjoys being outside, and likes skiing, kayaking, and going on adventures.
