Way before TI-89s, cell phones, and computers were ubiquitous, slide rules were essential for math, computing, engineering, and, well, most courses at Tech. Students had love-hate relationships with them, though now, through the lens of time, slide rules have a special place in the hearts of alumni (and a dedicated MTU webpage to celebrate them.
