The Upper Peninsula Land Conservancy is hiring an Executive Director who will direct all land trust operations and programs, supervise staff, and represent UPLC as the face of the organization.
Responsibilities Include:
- implementing UPLC’s Strategic Plan,
- leading and facilitating fund development,
- and prioritizing program activities to ensure that UPLC functions within its capacity.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with nonprofit administration, fundraising, and building relationships.
- Knowledge of current natural resources practices and land trust operations.
- Experience in writing funded grant proposals.
- Skills in staff development and interpersonal leadership skills.
- Experience with effective public presentation and writing skills.
- BA or BS in a related field
