Assistant Professor in Natural Resource Management

Northern Michigan University is seeking to fill a two-year, full-time, position for an instructor or assistant professor (not tenure-earning) in Natural Resource Management within the Department of Earth, Environmental & Geographical Sciences (EEGS). The successful candidate will teach courses including Physical Geography, Soils (lecture and labs), Wetlands (lecture and lab), Hydrology (lecture and lab), and Environmental Impact Assessment for undergraduate students. A master’s degree in Environmental Science, Conservation of Natural Resources, Soil Science, Forest Science, or a related field is required; however, a Ph.D. is preferred.
