Open to talented and enthusiastic graduate-level students of any major who have a passion for sustainability.
This summer fellowship offers $6,000 in funding, an additional $1,500 housing/travel stipend, and professional training for emerging sustainability leaders.
It’s supported by the state of Michigan’s Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) Catalyst Communities initiative.
Local governments striving for sustainability in Michigan have unique challenges as they pioneer and implement new programs and technologies. The CLC Fellowship is designed to help these communities reach their climate and energy goals while developing a pipeline of passionate, capable students ready to enter the workforce in sustainability careers after gaining hands-on, applied knowledge.
