SEEKCommons Fellowship

The goal of the fellowship is to bring graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, and professionals from community-based organizations with new perspectives to socio-environmental research with open technologies.

The fellowship is designed to:

  • Encourage new translational and integrative work involving socio-environmental action research with Open Science practices;
  • Provide a space for Fellows and Network members to collaborate on common research issues, challenges, and solutions.

Assistant Professorship in the Social Science of Digital Green Transitions at IT University of Copenhagen

The IT University of Copenhagen in Denmark invites applicants who can contribute to strengthening the IT University’s research and teaching in how digital technologies are deployed in green transitions. The candidates must have a background in qualitative social science and be competent in taking a sociotechnical and ethnographic perspective on the topic.

The qualified candidate will engage in interdisciplinary research and be able to deliver advanced research-based teaching in:

  • Sustainability
  • Capitalist responses to climate change
  • Climate actions and social change
  • Green infrastructures

The position requires academic qualifications at PhD level and the candidate must have the ability to read/speak a Scandinavian language or the willingness to learn Danish.

Network Manager

MiCAN (Michigan Climate Action Network) is seeking a full-time Network Manager to build, support, and coordinate their growing network. This is a full-time position with virtual work options within the state of Michigan. MiCAN states that they “serve as the megaphone for the statewide climate movement, and their primary mission is building a well-trained, well-coordinated, strong network of advocates that demand equitable climate action.” This position will work on member services, engagement, administrative operations, and team support.
