Climate and Clean Energy Specialist

Groundwork Center for Resilient Communities is seeking a Climate and Clean Energy Specialist to support the Climate and Environment Program in northern Michigan. The Climate and Clean Energy Specialist will be a visible, credible leader on policy issues who will work with key stakeholders to achieve 100% clean energy commitments from local schools, tribal nations, businesses and government entities. This is a full-time position with flexible hours, generous vacation and health benefits, retirement contribution matching, and a competitive salary range. The salary of this position is in the program specialist range of $52,000 – $57,000, commensurate with experience. FoodCorps Service Member Application

FoodCorps Service Members work with partnered schools and communities to nourish kids’ health, education, and sense of belonging. As a Service Member you will partner with K-12 schools for a full school year and spend time teaching kids to grow, cook, and love the nourishing foods that celebrate their cultures and communities. Applications are being accepted for the August 2023 through July 2024 cohort. Locations are available in Michigan (Detroit, Petoskey, Flint, and near Alpena) and throughout the country. Applications for Service Members are open through March 27, 2023. Food Corps also offers many wonderful benefits including a stipend, insurance, and student loan forbearance.
