MiCAN (Michigan Climate Action Network) is seeking a full-time Network Manager to build, support, and coordinate their growing network. This is a full-time position with virtual work options within the state of Michigan. MiCAN states that they “serve as the megaphone for the statewide climate movement, and their primary mission is building a well-trained, well-coordinated, strong network of advocates that demand equitable climate action.” This position will work on member services, engagement, administrative operations, and team support. Within the US House of Representatives, the Office of the Historian and the Office of Art and Archives have internships available for undergraduate and graduate level students. They are looking for candidates with a background in history, political science, library science, and art history. The interns will spend approximately 24 hours a week working on historical and biographical research, educational content creation and outreach, archival and object processing, object, photo, and record preservation, and curatorial content creation. While the offices are located in Washington D.C. there is potential for in-person, hybrid, or virtual work. This internship is unpaid; however, interns may work with the intern coordinator to accommodate scheduling relating to potential academic or work requirements.
