

Outdoor Adventure Program Presents, Art in the Woods Part 2
If you love art AND nature this is for you! The second in a series of four, the Outdoor Adventure Program is hosting a trip to the Montreal Falls on Sunday, June 17 from 9 AM-3 PM. Explore your artistic talents by painting, drawing, writing, taking photographs or playing music in nature. The cost is $10 and covers art supplies and transportation. Remember to pack a lunch as we won’t be near any restaurants or stores.

Summer Service Volunteers…
Every Thursday from 6-7 PM the ESL (English as a Second Language) program will be holding English Conversation Hour to give our students the chance to talk to native (or proficient) English speakers in a relaxed setting. We are looking for students and community members to join us and participate in relaxed conversation and games. Pizza and refreshments will be provided.
If you would like to join us, please come to the Walker Arts and Humanities building, 120A, on Thursdays from June 7- August 2.

A call for Seafood Fest volunteers
Houghton Rotary is hosting their annual Seafood Fest on the Houghton Waterfront from Thursday, June 14 – Sunday, June 17. Volunteers are still very much needed to help make this event a success. This is one of the biggest events in the community and many of the other volunteers are people that attend and support many Michigan Tech events.
