Khana Khazana Serves Iranian Cuisine Friday
The Dining Services food trailer will be parked on campus Friday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and will serve Iranian Cuisine. The featured dish is Bandari, which is a hot dog with onions, pickles, parsley and tomatoes. Also try some fresh squeezed Lemonade while you’re there.
Corn Roast at the Outdoor Adventure Program
Thursday, May 28 from 1:00 – 3:00 Student Activities will be hosting a Corn Roast at the Outdoor Adventure Program and it is free to attend! Please come over and enjoy a freshly grilled corn on the cob. It’s summer, so enjoy it with our awesome summer programming events! Find out what’s to come over the next few weeks too.

Softball Clinic Hosted by Graduate School Government
Graduate Student Government will be hosting a softball clinic for anyone interested in learning the game or those that just want to get some practice in. Everyone is welcome and some equipment will be provided, but please bring your own if you have it.

Boating Safety Info Session
Its that time of year, time to get out on the water and enjoy the natural wonder of the Keweenaw. Water sports can be fun for everyone but it is also important to learn how to be safe on the water. The Coast Guard and Coast Guard Auxiliary will be conducting a boating safety info session with an emphasis on Paddle Sports. Please stop into the Memorial Union Ballroom A1 on Thursday, May 28 at 5:30 PM. It is free to attend and there will be food and prizes too!

Keweenaw Science and Engineering Festival
Michigan Tech and the community will come together to host the inaugural Keweenaw Science and Engineering Festival.
The event is designed to stimulate and sustain interest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) in the Keweenaw.
This four-day festival is an open forum to showcase all facets of STEM in the Western Upper Peninsula. Current scheduled events include the Michigan Tech Mind Trekkers, Nerd Night with Tech’s Physics Department, the Family Engineering Day, Summer Concert Series, Science Pub Crawl, The Wonders of Physics, science comedian Brian Malow and David Gaynes presenting his documentary “Saving Hubble” and more!
