Spring Involvement Fair 2023 – Grow Your Involvement

The Spring Involvement Fair will take place in the Ballroom on the second floor of the Memorial Union Building (MUB) on Monday, January 30th from 12-4 pm.

The Spring Involvement Fair is a great opportunity for students to connect with many student leaders, discover organizations they might want to join, and become a part of an organization where they can find friends, fun, and great experiences! Best of all, plenty of Michigan Tech’s Registered Student Organizations will have activities so you can learn more about them and how you can get involved.

With well over 240 Student Organizations at Michigan Tech, there is something for everyone. This year’s Fair will feature green giveaways for the first 150 participants, prizes, and snacks for participating students!

Register Your RSO Here!

The deadline to sign up and submit a risk management plan (if any activities at your table may involve risk) is January 16th.

If you have any questions, please contact rso@mtu.edu.

Plant & Gardening Club’s 1st Annual White Elephant Gift Exchange

Glad the fall semester is finally over? Ready to celebrate your survival before heading home? Want to enjoy some greenery and a fun tropical holiday tree?

Join the Plant & Gardening Club as we host our first annual white elephant gift exchange! We hope you’ll join us to celebrate the end of the fall semester, the friends we’ve made, and the coming holidays. Anybody is welcome to come to the event which will be held inside The Bubble Greenhouse (between the MEEM and ChemSci building), however, we ask that if you want to receive a gift that you bring a gift. We’ll start at 6pm and end at 8pm!

Hot coffee, tea, cocoa, and food will be provided for the duration of the event! Other activities, such as coloring, card making, decoration creation, and board games, will be provided as well.

Some light guidelines for the gifts:

– We encourage a price cap of $20, if you choose to go over that is your choice, just do not expect a gift of equal value.

– We encourage plant-themed gifts, but they are not mandatory.

– No inappropriate gifts, please.

– No gift shaming, we shouldn’t have to expand on this.

– Have fun with this and be silly!

If you are planning on attending, please fill out this form.
