Student Scoop – December 22, 2022

Blue Key – Snow Statue Workshop

January 6-8Sculptora Borealis, two-time national snow statue building champions, will be putting on a workshop on our campus!

They will build an 8x8x8 ft snow statue, while teaching techniques to save time, design amazing snow suspensions, and produce incredible finishes. Just look at this statue they built in just five days!

The workshop is free and open to the public. There are also 10 slots for students to sign up to work alongside Sculptora Borealis and get hands-on experience!

As exciting as this opportunity is, announcing this during break is not ideal, nor is the fact that the workshop will take place the weekend before the semester starts in 2023, so we could really use your help!

Please share this message to help us spread the word, and for anyone who wants to get hands-on training, please fill out this form!

Don’t forget:
