Michigan Tech GSG to Present Virtual Poster Session at Alumni Reunion

The Graduate Student Government is pleased to announce a virtual poster presentation session at the alumni reunion of 2020. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, considering the overall health and safety of our alumni and faculty as priority, Michigan Tech has decided to host a virtual alumni reunion this year.

The alumni poster presentation session is a continued tradition designed to increase the interaction between graduate students and MTU alumni. It is a unique opportunity for graduate students to share their research work and expand network connections. This event is also a great opportunity for students to work on their presentation skills and prepare for upcoming conferences.

The poster presentation session is open to graduate students from all departments. It will consist of elevator-pitch-style, pre-recorded poster presentations. To register, submit the online registration form. Registration closes on June 17 at 11:59 p.m. and seats are reserved for 8-10 participants only.

Detailed instructions and guidelines to record your presentation will be sent out to you once you have registered. The deadline for participants to submit the presentation video is June 24.

For more information, please contact Sarvada Chipkar at gsg-research@mtu.edu.
