The Copper Country Coders program is back for the 2021-2022 academic year! In the program, Michigan Tech students lead small courses in programming and computer science for local middle and high school students of all levels of experience. The group meets in Rekhi Hall on Saturdays from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. during the fall and spring semesters. Separate online classes are also offered.
This fall’s kickoff meeting is Saturday, September 25, at 1:00 pm, in Rekhi Hall Room 112. Both students and their parents are asked to attend the first meeting. All are welcome. Please bring a mask as current University policy requires a mask indoors.
“We have an enthusiastic and creative team of instructors, and we are looking forward to another year of learning and having fun,” says Dr. Chuck Wallace, faculty advisor to the CCC program.
