New Research Predicts Risky Decision Making

Assistant Professor Edward Cokely has led an initiative to develop the Berlin Numeracy Test, which began in 2007 at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin, Germany. The study addresses risk literacy–the ability to comprehend and act on information about life’s many risks.

Scholarships Available to Career Changers
Michigan Tech alums who are interested in pursuing a career as a mathematics or science teacher in secondary schools are eligible for one-year fellowships, under a Tech program funded by the National Science Foundation until early 2014.
