Are you interested in working with refugee resettlement agencies in the Detroit metro area this summer? Are you interested in survey and/or interview methods?
During the summer of 2024, join an interdisciplinary team of researchers working to understand refugee integration factors and the outcomes of these factors on migration and voting behavior. MTU is beginning a project working with the non-profit Global Detroit, the Standford Immigration Lab, and the Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan, and we need interns to help with recruitment and data collection. Earn internship credit, build networks, and learn new skills. Compensation up to $20/hour.
Please contact Dr. Kathryn Hannum (khannum@mtu.edu) if you are interested!
