Khana Khazana-August 8

1. Khana Khazana Serving Iranian Cuisine

Khana Khanaza will present Iranian cuisine that will be cooked by Amir Zandnia and Aref Majdara, graduate students at Dept. of Electrical Engineering. The main dish is Chicken Cutlet. Known as “KuKu Morq” in Farsi, it is a delicious dish from the northern part of Iran. It is a mix of shredded chicken breast, eggs, and onions fried in vegetable oil. A special tomato sauce adds a very pleasant juicy taste. For vegetarians we will cook Kuku Sabzi, which is fried mixture of 4 types of herbs, eggs, and ground walnut.

As a beverage is Sekanjebin. Sweet and healthy Iranian drink made of vinegar and honey, with a refreshing taste of mint.

We will start serving at 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM. The whole meal is $6, cash only. Khana Khazana is going to be serving at the trailer, located in front of the J. Robert Van Pelt and John and Ruanne Opie Library.
