LOOKING AHEAD!

Purple Hearts Presented by Michigan Tech Theatre

7:30 PM | April 10-13, 2024

In the McArdle Theatre

Purple Hearts, by C.S. Wallace, is the heartbreaking, inspiring, and sometimes funny story of three men who, in the wake of the attack on Pearl Harbor, find themselves trapped aboard the now-sunken USS West Virginia. In this intimate story, we explore these men’s relationships and character as they fight for the lives they hope to live and wrestle with the lives they’ve lived thus far. Their loved ones and the impact of the events on them also play a critical role in the piece. Based on true events, this play is the Michigan Tech debut for director Nich Radcliffe and the final bow for five graduating seniors in the cast.
