The Michigan Tech CyberCorps Scholarship for Service program is accepting CyberApplications for the 2022-23 cohort from December 1, 2021, to February 1, 2022.
An Information Session for those interested in applying is Thursday, September 30, 2021, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in Rekhi 113. An additional session will be scheduled this fall.
What is the CyberCorps?
CyberCorps® Scholarship for Service (SFS) is a national program to recruit and train the next generation of IT professionals, industrial control system security professionals, and security managers to meet the needs of the cybersecurity mission for Federal, State, Local, and Tribal governments.

Current and prospective full-time students pursing cybersecurity-related degrees at Michigan Tech
Exceptional students from other majors who demonstrate a strong commitment to a government cybersecurity career

U.S. citizens, and must meet selection criteria for federal employment

Student Obligations
SFS scholars agree to:
Following graduation, work for Federal, State, Local, or Tribal government in a cybersecurity-related position for a period equal to the length of the scholarship
Participate in summer government internship positions
Participate in other SFS activities, like meetings, cyber competitions, and conferences
