Ph.D. Student Niusen Chen, CS, Receives Outstanding Scholarship Award


Computer Science Ph.D. student Niusen Chen has received the Outstanding Scholarship Award from the Michigan Tech Graduate School. Niusen’s graduate advisor is Bo Chen, associate professor, Computer Science department.

Niusen Chen will be presented with a Certificate of Recognition at the Graduate Student Government award ceremony this spring; he will also be identified by name in the appropriate commencement programs.

Outstanding Scholarship Awards are awarded annually to Michigan Tech graduate students nominated by the students’s academic colleges or departments. Selection criteria can include, but are not limited to:

  • Conference papers, proceedings, presentations or poster sessions
