Adam Mitteer ’03 ’17

The Center for Business AI will present a seminar with Adam Mitteer ’03 ’17 on March 15, 2024, at 4 pm in the Academic Office Building (AOB), Room 101.

The presentation is titled, “Burgers & AI? ‘I’ll gladly pay you Tuesday for AI today.'” The talk will look at AI use within the restaurant industry and explore where successes have been found, failures lie, and opportunities abound.

Mitteer graduated from the Michigan Tech College of Business in December 2003 with degrees in both Operations and Systems Management and Management of Information Systems. He relocated to Florida at the end of summer 2004, eventually landing a data analyst position with the consulting company Revenue Management Solutions (RMS), located in Tampa, Florida. He became the company’s vice president of information technology in 2014.

In 2014 and 2015, Mitteer pursued a Master of Science in Data Science degree at Michigan Tech, graduating in 2017. Following, he became the chief data officer at RMS, building the company’s AI and Machine Learning team. He recently became the company’s chief technology officer and he manages global data management, software development, and technology platforms. He has worked with data for over 200 brands and more than 100K restaurants across more than 50 countries.
