The scholarships are awarded to students submitting the best original manuscripts on nondestructive testing. The manuscript should develop a concept in NDT and may be based on practical experience, laboratory work, or library research. (See link below for manuscript criteria.) Papers may be classroom assignments for work outside NDT, such as an English class. A maximum of three (3) scholarships are presented each year.
Applications must be submitted online and received no later than 15 February 2015.
The application should include the following information:
- Completed Application Form (See link below.)
- Original copy of the student’s NDT paper
- Curriculum of student, showing classroom hours of NDT course work (may attach school’s published curriculum if available)
- Transcripts of grades showing all of student’s completed course work. If educational institution will submit electronically, then request the transcript be submitted through the ASNT website’s submission form; if it will not submit transcripts electronically, please request that the transcript be mailed to ASNT Headquarters to the contact information below
- Letter from an instructor or school official verifying the student’s enrollment
