Computer Science faculty member Bo Chen has been promoted to an Associate Professor position with tenure.

Chen’s areas of expertise include mobile device security, cloud computing security, named data networking security, big data security, and blockchain. He is the director of the Secure and Privacy (SnP) Lab, and a member of the Institute of Computing and Cybersystems’s (ICC) Centers for Computing Education (CompEd), Cybersecurity (CyberS), and Biocomputing and Digital Health (BDH).
