The Department of Geological and Mining Engineering and Sciences (GMES) will host a Mining Engineering speaker, Dr. Ashis Bhattacherjee, on Friday, June 10, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. in Dow 610.

Dr. Bhattacherjee is a professor of Safety Engineering and Analytics. He teaches in the Department of Mining Engineering and the College of Engineering (CoE) at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India.
The title of his presentation is, “Association of Whole-Body Vibration Exposure and Musculoskeletal Disorders among Dumper Operators: A case-control study in Indian Iron Ore Mines.”
