Hoda Hatoum (BioMed/HRI) is the principal investigator on a project that has received a $200,000 research and development grant from the National Science Foundation.
The project is titled “ERI: Non-Newtonian blood analogs and effect of their rheology on physiological flow stasis in heart valve applications.”
This is a potential two-year project.
