New Awards
Flavio Costa, along with co-PI Chee Wooi Ten, secured an MTU REF award in this year’s round. Their project is entitled “Grid Emulation in Campus Buildings Incorporating Distributed Renewables and Vehicle/Battery Charging” and totals up to $36,530 including $3,000 in cost share from the ICC.
The next round of recipients of GLRC/ICC Rapid Seedling Grants have been announced. The three projects will begin in January 2024 and carry through the end of the spring semester. The three recipients are Jeffrey Wall, Hassan Masoud, and Ronghua Xu. An upcoming blog post will feature them, so stay tuned.
Proposal Activity
ICC Members submitted 8 proposals for awards in November, which total just over $6.4 million in proposed project funding. Although this time of the year is associated with slower activity, ICC members are still trucking along, with several proposals slated to be submitted in December before the year rounds out.
