Career Fair opportunities at Michigan Tech just got even better with the announcement that the College of Business will host its first exclusive event for Business Huskies this fall.
The College welcomes employers interested in participating in the Business Career Fair to sign up now for the event, which takes place from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23 in the Memorial Union Building Ballroom on the Michigan Tech campus.
There’s no fee to participate. Interview space will also be provided at no charge on Friday, Oct. 24 for companies ready to hire Huskies for internships, co-ops, and full-time positions.
Held in conjunction with Michigan Tech Career Services, which is known for both fall and spring Career Fairs as well as CareerFest events that bring Huskies together with employers, the College of Business Career Fair comes a month after the University-wide fall Career Fair.
While Michigan Tech’s College of Business Career Fair is free to participants, sponsorships and donations are welcome from those who want to help support the event. If you’re interested in participating in any level, please contact careerfair@mtu.edu
The Business Career Fair will focus on undergraduate and graduate students majoring in degree programs including accounting, business analytics, construction management, economics, engineering management, finance, management, management information systems, marketing, and MBA programs.
“We’re excited to offer this opportunity to employers looking for top talent,” said Dean Johnson, dean of the College of Business. “As the only business college in Michigan embedded in a public technological research university, our STEM-infused programs are unique and our students are both tech- and business-savvy.”
Students in the College of Business are involved in state-of-the-art learning in data, accounting, and business analytics, artificial intelligence, financial technology (FinTech), and blockchain development. They put what they’re learning into practice, from excelling in state and international marketing competitions to managing $2 million-plus through the college’s Applied Portfolio Management Program.
Companies and institutions of all sizes are welcome. To secure a spot, or get more information, employers can visit Michigan Tech Career Services.
