GeoTenerife’s Summer Programme

GeoTenerife’s Summer Programme is now open for applications.

Thanks to the success of previous years’ programmes, we have a record number of placements available from June to September 2018.

The programme is run in association with the Canary Islands Volcanology Institute and includes:

– Geophysical survey for geothermal exploration
– Hydrogeochemical and soil CO2 efflux monitoring
– Volcano & Geothermal Seismic Research
– Diffuse CO2 degassing monitoring
– Hydrogeochemical and soil CO2 efflux monitoring
– Environmental monitoring (optical remote sensing)
– Environmental monitoring (CH4 emission from landfill)

We are committed to widening access to our programmes, and we have two GeoTenerife scholarship places available for our summer programme (see You can follow the progress of our scholars this summer on our dedicated Twitter feed, @GeoTScholar.
