2019 ITE Student Leadership Summit

Please join us at this year’s Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Student Leadership Summit (SLS) for the Midwest and Great Lakes Districts.  Hosted by the UMSL/WUSTL Joint Engineering Program ITE Chapter.

Please note that ITE Michigan will provide $1,000 for Tech students for this event.

Lodging is $35-40/night (depending on the type of room selected).  If the students pay for lodging the registration and parking during the Student Leadership Summit are free.  Total cost is transportation to St. Louis and lodging.

If students plan to stay for the Midwestern District/MOVITE Section Annual Meeting they can stay in the Wash U dorms at the same rate.  Metrolink runs between the Wash U campus and downtown St. Louis where the Midwestern District/MOVITE Section Annual Meeting is being held.

 

  

Job Posting: MDOT (Facilities Engineer)

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is currently seeking to fill a Facilities Engineer located in Lansing, Michigan.

As an engineer for MDOT facility projects, this position serves as a technical resource and liaison responsible for performing and overseeing facility assessments, scoping, estimating, design, construction, and maintenance.  It will also coordinate the engineering activities of a facility project, monitor progress of construction contracts while insuring conformance to specifications, including project costs, construction schedules, and authorizing contract payments.  The position will provide assistance in coordination, planning, development and implementation activities of the department’s capital outl

Possession of a bachelor degree or higher in engineering or will obtain by May 31, 2019.
