NASA DEVELOP National Program: Informational Webinars

There will be two webinars this month in an effort to provide information about the internship program and how potential candidates can apply.

DEVELOP addresses environmental and public policy issues through interdisciplinary research projects that apply the lens of NASA Earth observations to community concerns around the globe. Bridging the gap between NASA Earth science and society, DEVELOP builds capacity in both participants and partner organizations to better prepare them to address the challenges that face our society and future generations. Teams of DEVELOP participants partner with decision makers to conduct rapid feasibility projects that highlight relevant applications of Earth observing missions, cultivate advanced skills, and increase understanding of NASA Earth science data and technology.

DEVELOP employs participants during 3, 10-week long terms throughout the year to address these challenges through organized partner projects.  There are 11 locations an applicant can apply to, depending on what location the applicant would like to be considered for. Each location has specific projects Participants work on as a team during the 10-week term.  Participants are classified as part-time temporary employees and work an average of 20-29 hours per week.  Salary is determined by location and education.
