With implementation of The Great American Outdoors Act, the National Forest System is poised to address decades of backlogged road, trail, and facility maintenance. What an exciting time! Acknowledging that experienced Civil Engineering Technicians are in high demand, the Cumberland Ranger District of the Daniel Boone National Forest will soon be advertising a career ladder position that promises to be a rewarding experience for anyone who enjoys helping the public access and experience their national forests and has an appetite to learn new skills and grow into a very valuable agency role. We will also certainly entertain interest from anyone who is practiced in performing these duties!
