New Fall CS Course: Communicating in Computing Disciplines


The Department of Computer Science has added a new fall 2023 course titled, “Communicating in Computing Disciplines.”

This course is targeted to both graduate students and upper-level undergraduate students interested in publishing their research or applied computing projects. Computer Science majors may count the course as a technical elective.

  • Description: Students workshop their original research or applied computing projects as presentations, posters, and papers. Students learn how to read, review, critique, and edit academic works. As an ongoing project, students participate in the operation of an undergraduate journal and prepare submissions for publication.
