TECH SCEnE Final Presentations are July 26

Student participants of the 2023 NSF REU site TECH SCEnE at Michigan Tech, under the mentorship of faculty from Applied ComputingBiomedical EngineeringBiological Sciences, and Electrical and Computer Engineering, will present their research on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at 1 p.m. in GLRC 202. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

Topics range from portable air filtration using UVC, automated light control for a fish hatchery, identifying the presence of heavy metals in the Keweenaw Bay and its impact, and smart adhesives for sensors in harsh environments. 

TECH SCEnE: Technology, Science and Community Engagement in Engineering, a National Science-funded initiative, is an undergraduate research program that combines engineering research with direct community involvement and impact. It is a National Science Foundation-funded program.
