Job Description Summary
Michigan Technological University and the Department of Applied Computing’s MS in Health Informatics program invite applications for a tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Applicants with the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and accomplishments commensurate with a higher rank may be considered for an appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.
The successful candidate will have an earned doctorate in health informatics, biomedical data science, biomedical informatics, computational medicine, or a closely related discipline at the time of employment. Applicants with research and/or teaching interests in the following area(s) are encouraged to apply: biomedicine and healthcare machine learning and AI, clinical decision support systems (CDSS), health data analytics and big data, computational epidemiology, medical imaging and computer vision, longitudinal data analysis, mHealth and Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), health informatics ethics, security and privacy, and additional related areas.
