Rescheduled CGS webinar on NSF Graduate Research Fellowship

We are pleased to announce a rescheduled date for the CGS webinar, Preparing Graduate Research Fellowship Applications. Due to the lapse in government funding, this event had to be postponed from its original date.

Webinar date:  Wednesday, October 23, 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. EDT

Register at: https://cgsnet.webex.com/cgsnet/onstage/g.php?t=a&d=662517093

Once registered, you will receive a follow-up email with specific directions for how to participate on October 23.

This session will be an overview of the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) and the program updates for the FY2014 competition. Gisele Muller-Parker, GRFP Program Director, and Henning Schroeder, CGS/NSF Dean in Residence, will engage participants in a discussion about how they can help applicants to be competitive.

Speakers: Gisele Muller-Parker, GRFP Program Director and Henning Schroeder, CGS/NSF Dean in Residence

Space is limited to 500 participants. Register soon! We expect this session to fill up. If you plan for multiple people to attend the webinar at your institution, please arrange to view the webinar together under a single registration to save space for other CGS members to participate.

Please note that the presentation is designed for graduate deans, graduate school faculty, advisers, administrators, and other university staff who conduct outreach with students about applying for the GRFP program. Due to space limitations we are not able to make this session available to students.

For any questions about the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program and its proposal deadlines, please visit the GRFP website.

We hope that you will be able to join us for this event,
