Nominations Open for Bhakta Rath Award and the Michigan Tech Research Award

The Vice President for Research Office is accepting nominations for the Bhakta Rath Research Award. The award offers an opportunity to promote and reward excellence in scientific and engineering research in the fields of physical and natural sciences and engineering. The Vice President for Research Office is also accepting nominations for the Michigan Tech Research Award, which offers an opportunity for an individual to be recognized for outstanding achievements in research. For complete submission guidelines, see Michigan Tech Research Award.

Nominations should be submitted electronically in PDF format per the guidelines on the web pages no later than 4 p.m. on Mar. 10. All nominations should be sent to Cathy Jenich at cmjenich@mtu.edu.

Seminar on Dissertation, Thesis, or Report submission

Students planning on finishing a dissertation, thesis, or report in spring or summer 2016 are invited a seminar designed to help students understand the submission process and answer questions about it. Faculty and staff who assist students with submissions are also welcome to attend. Changes were made to the submission process in fall 2015, so we encourage everyone to attend who will be planning to submit.

Once you register, you will receive a confirmation with the location and a reminder of the date and time, or information on how to join us online.

If you are unable to join us, this seminar will be taped and available online after the event.
