This season has been a great one! However, Mont Ripley will not be open Mon-Thurs any longer for the remainder of this season. We will be open Friday March 28th – Sunday 30th. Friday 4-9 Sat & Sun 10-5. Any dates to open will be determined as we approach them. We want thank everyone for making this season such a great one! And keep an eye on our website and Facebook as we will announce other weekends we plan to open soon!
The weather is warming up a bit, and our Slush Pit/Easter Egg Hunt is approaching soon. The date is set for Saturday, March 22. The day starts with our Easter Egg Hunt at 10am, a special fenced in area for children 5 & under will be available in addition to eggs all over the rest of the ski area. There is over $2000 in prizes including a brand new Kona Mountain Bike, and Season Pass for finding the golden eggs. The Slush Pit starts at 1pm contesting for the most OUTRAGEOUS performance for guys & gals, with the 1st place prize being a Season’s Pass for next season! So come join us in the fun and excitement here at Mont Ripley on Saturday, March 22!

Today is the first day we have had in 73 days that is above freezing. The sun is out and the conditions are amazing! From here on we should see a lot more sun, more light and lighter snow conditions. With the snow adding to 236″ of natural snow and more coming, we will be skiing well through the month of March and later dates into April will be posted closer to the date. Also Half Season Passes are available now at exactly HALF the original price! So come join us at Mont Ripley in the Midwest’s Snowiest City!
Winter Carnival starts this week! On Saturday we will be hosting our annual SnoComp event. Sign will be from 10 am-12 pm! The competition will begin at noon! Entry is $10, and every contestant MUST sign waiver and have a helmet. Classes range with boys, girls: 15 and below, and 16 and up. Prizes include skis, snowboard, hats, wax, gloves, goggles, and more. Best tick in slope-style wins the Noah Sirdenis Amplitude Award including; Jacket, hat, goggles, and gloves! So head over to Mont Ripley this Saturday February 8th to participate and/or watch this huge annual event!!!

Mont Ripley will be closed today 1-27-14 due to the inclement weather we are expected to have tonight. With wind gusts up to 3o mph and a wind chill expected to be 30-45 degrees below zero, we decided its more important for you, our guests, to stay warm and indoors. We plan to re-open tomorrow if temperature permits. Stay Safe and Think Snow

Mont Ripley is open and operating at 100%! Every run! Every lift! Our terrain park is also fully open with ALL snow making finished for the season! And At the earliest we’ve had it in 14 years! One of our seasoned Ski Patroller’s said, “we currently have the best conditions in over 40 years!” With Heikki Lunta continuing to deliver exceptional natural snow there’s no reason not to join in on all the fun.
