Some courses require students to register for multiple components at the same time, such as a lecture, lab, or discussion section. These components are required to be taken together for successful registration.
Before registering for Spring 2027, check the list below to see if any of your planned courses are included. If so, be sure to register for all required course components at the same time to ensure you are properly enrolled.
Biomedical Engineering Courses

Must Add Section (0A) and BE 3701 R# at the same time
-BE 4000 – Design Fundamentals
Must complete Independent Study form BEFORE registration
-BE 4910 – Senior Design II
Must include L# and R#
Chemistry Courses
-CH 1150/1151 – University Chemistry I
Must Add Section (0A) and CH 1151 R# at the same time.
-CH 1160/1161 – University Chemistry II
Must Add Section (0A) and CH 1161 R# at the same time.
Electrical Engineering Courses
-EE 3010 – Circuits & Instrumentation
Must add Section (0A or 0B) and L# at the same time.
Math Courses
-MA 1160 / 1161 –
Must add matching R# and L# (ie – R03 & L03) at the same time
-MA 2160 –
Must add matching R# and L# (ie – R03 & L03) at the same time
-MA 3160 –
Must add matching R# and L# (ie – R03 & L03) at the same time
-MA 2321 – Accl. Linear Algebra
Must add course (R01) and MA 3521 Course (R01) at the same time
-MA 3521 – Accl. Differential Equations
Must add course (R01) and MA 2321 Course (R01) at the same time
-MA 2320 – Linear Algebra
Add Section (R#). Must take MA 3520 in a LATER semester. You must successfully complete MA 2320 before you can take MA 3520.
-MA 3520 – Differential Equations
Add Section (R#). You must successfully complete MA 2320 before you can take MA 3520.
Physics Courses
-PH 1100 – Physics by Inquiry I
If taking in the same semester as PH 2100, must add PH 1100 and PH 2100 at the same time.
-PH 2100 – Univ Physics I-Mechanics
If taking in the same semester as PH 1100, must add PH 1100 and PH 2100 at the same time.
PH 2100 must add Section (0A or 0B) and R# at the same time.
-PH 1200 – Physics by Inquiry II
If taking in the same semester as PH 2200, must add PH 1200 and PH 2200 at the same time.
-PH 2200 – Univ Physics II-Elec & Magnet
If taking in the same semester as PH 1200, must add PH 1200 and PH 2200 at the same time.
